Tom Petty has died at the age of 66. According to multiple news sites, the singer went into cardiac arrest at his house on Sunday night and medics were unable to revive him.
There really is no way to absorb this – he was one of my favorite musical Artists. Along with his band The Heartbreakers, Petty created some of the most popular songs of my generations: “Don’t Do Me Like That”, “Here Comes My Girl” and his solo anthem “Freefallin'”.
